Legacy of Orisha - Book 2
Book: Zelie and Amari have finally brought magic back to Orisha. With the death of her father and brother, Amari returns to Legos to take over the throne. The people cheer her vision for an Orisha where gifted and not can live in peace together, but her vision is cut short by a surprise appearance. ----- The same complex and interesting characters find themselves facing a another fight, one that is too familiar. Sometimes the story feels repetitious--how many times can Amari voice the same argument? There are still enough twists and surprises to keep the story moving. While the first book was a complete story, this one ends with a huge cliffhanger, and with no third book in sight.
Narration: Bahni Turpin again amazes with her reading. I feel sorry for those who opted for print over audio. They are missing so much.
