Red is an ancient oak tree that has served as the neighborhood Wishtree for generations. The tradition has weakened over the years, but Red can still tell a great story. And a great story is what is needed if his life is to be spared, and if he can find someone to listen. ----- I heard about this short novella by very lucky happenstance and inhaled it in just a few hours. A heartwarming fable that makes you think about the nature that surrounds you every day. Are you listening?
