The Nicci Chronicles - Book 3
The legendary city of Ildakar has appeared out the mist, but there is something not quite right about its perfection. Nathan still has not regained his power of prophecy, Bannon has become a target of some of Ildakar's elite, and Nicci is trying to find a way to save the city from the stone army surrounding it while the city's leaders fight anything that will weaken their rule. ----- If you're going to write a trilogy, you want a strong ending, and Terry Goodkind gives this chronicle one in spades. Strong, interesting and complex characters on both sides of the equation give the trilogy the story ending it deserves.
