Mystery/Thriller -- 2 1/2 stars
When a woman's body is found in a seedy Philadelphia motel, forensic specialist Liam Dwyer is called in to investigate. When he realizes she is a woman he had an affair with some time ago, he calls his brother Detective Sean Dwyer who suggests they keep Liam's relationship with the victim a secret while the two of them try to find the murderer themselves. An unrealistic, story idea that devolves into a predictable ending that is both overwrought and overwritten. A book of awkward dialogue that could have used the services of a good editor.
