Mystery/Thriller -- 5 stars
Emma lives on an island with her husband and son in the same dilapidated house where she grew up. When her husband gets a promotion, which will allow her family to move to the mainland, she is forced to face a crime she committed as a high school student. Or did she? Populated with characters who are not just black and white, this story has all the twists, turns, multiple suspects, and surprises that make for a great read.
