Joe Dillard Series - Book 3
Book: A criminal lawyer fights back against an incompetent judge and ends up losing his license. Then the judge is found hanging from a tree in his own front yard. The prime suspect is the lawyer's son who just happens to be a friend of Joe Dillard's own son. Oh, and Dillard's wife may have destroyed evidence of his guilt putting her husband in a legal quagmire. At the same time, a young employee of the District Attorney's office is missing, and she may not be the person everyone thought. ----- These Joe Dillard books just keep getting better.
Narration: Tim Campbell has a relaxed style that can break into intensity when the story calls for it. He projects easily differentiated characters and clean, clear story telling. One of the best.
