THE SLEEPWALKER, by Chris Bohjalian

Mystery/Thriller -- 4 1/2 stars

Annalee Ahlberg is a sleepwalker.  Once her older daughter found her standing on the bridge above the river. Then one night, while her husband is out of town and her two teenage daughters are asleep in their rooms, she disappears completely. An eery story as much about family and love as it is about desire and betrayal.  I'm a huge fan of Chris Bohjalian who somehow always manages to dig deep and pull you into his emotional maelstrom.  You don't so much read his books as breathe them.  Not as good as his Skeletons at the Feast, but not many books are.
