THE HOLLOW CROWN, by Jeff Wheeler

Fantasy -- 3 1/2 stars

The Kingfountain Series - #4
Years of peace and prosperity have passed since King Severn was overthrown and banished. Tryneowy Kiskaddon has reached the brink of womanhood and finds that she wants more than the book learning that comes from being a Wizr.  When her mother has a vision of impending disaster and a new enemy makes itself known, Trynne has a vision of her own that makes her believe she is right. ----- I loved the first three books, so this one was a bit of a disappointment.  First, the people I loved who were so central to the story have all "aged-out," and the next generation is in the forefront.  This book seems to exist as a transition piece for that change. The vague tip-of-the-hat to Camelot and King Arthur are more obvious than in the first three books.  Not as much action or intrigue, but it does leave you wanting to find out what happens next.
