Ghost Story -- 4 1/2 stars
It's Thanksgiving weekend at Baird College, and five students are rattling around their nearly empty dorm when a storm arrives that leaves them without power. Candles and a Ouija board are brought out, and the race is on. This book had every stock ghost story element mixed in one huge pot, and somehow managed to never become trite. Compulsively readable and spooky, this is a well written, good, old-fashioned ghost story with a satisfying and exciting climax.
