ALL THE MISSING GIRLS, by Megan Miranda

Mystery/Thriller -- 3 1/2 stars

Ten years ago, Nicolette Farrell's best friend disappeared after a night at the fair.  Now Nicolette has come home to help get her father's house ready to sell, and another girl has gone missing. ----- A story that reveals its secrets in reverse, each chapter exposing more of the truth connecting today's missing girl with the first missing girl.  While the main story is a good solid one, there are so may secondary stories that the result is a book too cluttered to be called excellent.  The final two reveals are totally unsuspected, revealing a truth that is both stark and sad.  That there doesn't seem to be any consequences makes the whole book seem like a waste of time.
