Mystery/Thriller -- 4 stars
Dan Sorenson was a high-powered defense attorney when tragedy changed his life forever. Finding himself struggling to keep his head above water at the bottom of his personal abyss, he is approached by a young attorney who has just quit her job at a middling law firm. Now Nina is offering him a way back, if he'll defend a young rap star accused of murdering a pop singer. ----- Interesting characters, lots of twists and turns that will keep you guessing right up to the end. If you like Grisham, you'll like Mitzner.
