THE LAST TIME I LIED, by Riley Sager
Mystery/Thriller -- 4 stars
Emma was a 13 year old first-time camper at Camp Nightingale when she watched her three cabin mates sneak out in the dead of the night. They never returned. Now, years later, the camp is reopening and Emma is invited back, this time as an art teacher. Emma accepts, determined to spend her six weeks finding out what really happened to her friends. Many campers are now fellow staff members, and the same family is in charge making Emma's suspect list long. Well paced, with clues meted out with just enough frequency to keep you turning pages. The characters are pretty stock, but the ending is original and unexpected.
