VANISHING GIRLS, by Lisa Regan

Mystery/Thriller -- 5 stars

Josie Quinn - Book 1
A young girl is missing in the small town of Denton, but the search for her turns up a different girl, one who no one seems to know had been missing.   Mute and nearly catatonic, this girl manages to speak one word--the name of a third girl.  And the race is on to save them all.  I read the third book in this series when it was offered as an Amazon Prime freebie.  It was good enough that I went back to read the beginning of the series.  I'm glad I did.  Solid writing, interesting characters, and a clever plot with more surprises, twists, and reveals in the last 100 pages than most books have in their entirety.
