THE NOWHERE MAN, by Gregg Hurwitz, narrated by Scott Brick

Mystery/Thriller -- 5 stars
Audiobook Narration -- 5 stars

Orphan X - Book #2
Book:  Orphan X was groomed through a secret government program to be an assassin, but Evan Smoak doesn't work for the government anymore.  He has become "The Nowhere Man," the person the helpless turn to when there is no one else left.  The government wants him back--but not alive.  However, when Mr. Smoak is drugged and taken to a remote location, it's not the government he has to worry about. -----  I loved the first book in this series with its gadgets and secrets and feel good ending.  This one is just as much fun.  Part MacGyver, part Batman, Evan Smoak is a character you can't help but cheer for.  Excitement, twists, turns, and redemption--what's not to love?

Narration:  Scott Brick has just the right delivery for these types of books--matter of fact even in the face of the fantastic.  Clear characterizations.
