DON'T LET GO, by Harlan Coben

Mystery/Thriller -- 4 1/2 stars

Nap Dumas' twin brother died during their senior year in high school.  It was ruled an accident--alcohol and railroad tracks are not a good mix.  It was also the same night Nap's girl friend disappeared.  Fifteen years later, her fingerprints show up at a murder scene.  Nap is now Detective Dumas, and he wants answers.  This is a conspiracy book, and Harlan Coben takes his time doling out hints and red herrings before throwing a complete surprise into the ending.  With interesting, if not totally original characters, it's as entertaining as Coben's books always are.
