Sam Kovac and Nikki Liska - Book 2
Book: An internal affairs officer is found hanging in his bedroom, an apparent suicide. The morning of the funeral, his father, a wheelchair-bound ex-cop is also found dead. Two suicides are too much of a coincidence for Kovac and Liska. ----- Quick paced, and complex with enough surprises to keep you turning pages. If you like your mysteries with a side of sarcastic humor, you will love these two detectives. I don't think I've read a Tami Hoag book that I didn't enjoy.
Narration: David Colacci adds just the right smirk to his voice to tell you all you need to know about the comfortable relationship between Kovac and Liska. His reading is precise, his characters easily identifiable and diverse in presentation. One of my favorite readers.
