Promise Falls Trilogy - Book 3
It's May 23 and the people in Promise Falls are dying, the hospital is swamped, a college student is murdered and Detective Barry Duckworth is reminded of similar unsolved cases. At the same time the number 23 keeps popping up all over town from bloody mannequins, to a burning bus, to an assault suspect's hoodie. ----- I enjoyed getting to know Det. Duckworth in the first two books in this trilogy, and this final chapter proved to be a satisfactory tying up of the loose ends and unanswered questions swirling around a cast of interesting and well-developed characters.
