The Kingfountain Series - Book #5
Trynne's father disappears, her mother leaves to search for the Deep Fathoms and King Gahalatine begins his invasion with an overwhelming force. Loyalties are questioned, magics are tested, and mighty battles are fought. After finding Book #4 in this series less than exciting, I was pleased that Book #5 returned to the pace and intrigue that marked the first three books. Fascinating new characters and new realms are introduced. ----- You can see the ending coming, but how it actually comes about is twisted and unexpected. While not exactly a cliffhanger, I still can't wait for the last book to bring the epic tale to a close. The Forsaken Throne is due out in November.
