MR. NOBODY, by Catherine Steadman

Mystery/Thriller -- 4 1/2 stars

When a man is found on a beach, cold, wet, and unable to say who he is, London neuropsychiatrist Emma Lewis is called to a small hospital near her home town to lead his treatment.  He needs her because he wants to remember; she hesitates to leave London because she wants to forget. Emma nevertheless finds herself drawn to the stranger who seems to know facts about her past she thought she had left behind years ago. ------ Two main characters, two mysteries slowly revealed in this perfectly paced, well written who-am-I? Well developed secondary characters and easily relatable circumstances only add to this satisfying story of desperation and forgiveness.
