MANY RIVERS TO CROSS, by Peter Robinson
Mystery/Thriller -- 3 stars
Inspector Banks - Book 26
In one section of Eastvale, a park separates the haves from the have-nots. When a young Middle Eastern boy is found dead in a trash can on one side, and a disabled drug addict is found dead in his home on the other, Inspector Banks and his team work to find if the cases are somehow related. At the center is the park, the drug trade, and a developer who wants the have-nots out of his way. ----- Inspector Banks novels are always well-plotted with a satisfying display of logical clues ending in another Banks triumph. This book is no different, but it is frustratingly over written so that the wordiness gets in the way of a good story. Too much talk, not enough do.
