SHE LIES IN WAIT, by Gytha Lodge

Mystery/Thriller -- 4 1/2 stars

In 1983, six teenagers go camping in the woods.  Aurora Jackson, the youngest of the six, is both excited and frightened to be included.  There is drinking, there is flirting, there is teen-aged pairing off, there is jealousy, there is disappointment.  And in the morning, there is one less teenager in the camp--Aurora is nowhere to be found.  Thirty years later, Aurora's body is unearthed close to where the group had camped, and not far from where one of their teachers had also spent a long ago night in the woods. The cold case is reopened and everyone is once again under suspicion. -----  A story complicated by secrets and lies and drugs, this is a psychological thriller that keeps you in suspense until the end.  Well-drawn characters, with a villain hiding in plain sight.
