HELL BENT, by Gregg Hurwitz, narrated by Scott Brick
Mystery/Thriller -- 5 stars
Audiobook Narration -- 5 stars
Orphan X - Book #3
Book: As a boy, Evan Smoak was trained to be part of a clandestine government project. Now he's done with that; and, despite the government's desire to find him and stop him, he is dedicated to using his training to help those who have no one else. This time, it's his mentor, Jack, who is asking--and the problem involves a volatile 16 year old girl. ----- These books just keep getting better. This may be the most emotional of the three I've listened to, and as a result, it is the most fulfilling. But Mr. Hurwitz can still write an action scene. His descriptions are so vivid, no video could ever do it better. If you need something to keep you awake on a long drive, you can't go wrong with this series. Start with the first book, Orphan X. You will be entering a world like no other.
Narration: Scott Brick has melded his style to perfection in this series. Clean narration, clear dialogue, a genuine and natural reading.
