STRANGE TIDE, by Christoper Fowler, narrated by Tim Goodman

Mystery/Thriller -- 5 stars
Audiobook Narration -- 5 stars

Bryant and May Series - Book 13
Book:  Each of the books in this series focus on some aspect of the city of London.  This time it's the Thames where a woman is found chained to a post and left to drown at the high tide mark.  The discovery is even more confusing when they find only one set of footprints leads to the body, so how did she get there?  Once again, archaic knowledge of the city of London fascinates and solves the case. -----  I love this series. Period. A winding path to the solution that you never see coming, history, a cast of diverse characters to love, gentle humor--what more can you ask for?

Narration:  Tim Goodman breathes such life into the characters in these books that you expect to find them waiting for you in the next room.  I never tire of listening to him.  Each word is clean, the narration is varied and interesting.  One of the best.
