Imagine the Library of Alexandria survived; but in this society the personal ownership of books is forbidden. The surviving students of the Library school try to save one of their own who is locked away in the Library Tower, doomed to a lifetime of service. If they can save her and escape, they still have to get to London and face the Welsh army. But first they have to get past those stone lions. ----- A great continuation of the first book with heroes to root for, villains to despise, and a few of whom you can't be sure. No sophomore slump in evidence.
